Build the brief around the intention

A short-term arrangement should solve a defined task over defined dates. An arrival stay, a temporary workspace and a pop-up retail concept are different needs, even though each has a limited duration. Start with the dates and what must be usable when the period begins.

Ask the provider to describe the proposed package for the exact unit or space. Record included equipment, service limits, setup tasks, charges and arrangements at the end. If the schedule might change, ask how extensions or changes would be handled. A short-term keyword does not prove that a duration, use or service is permitted or available.

Three questions to resolve

Dates

What start and end dates can the provider confirm?

Readiness

Which services and equipment will be working at the start?

Changes

What happens if the requested period changes?

How this option differs

No universal day or month threshold is assigned here. The short-term filter describes research intent; actual terms depend on the provider and arrangement. Confirm the relevant conditions rather than applying a duration label as a legal classification.
